The students of Quebec's French and English public schools are being denied the best possible education because the lack of will to work or the fear of offending voters by our politicians.
Resources and time are wasted on teaching about religious cultures and political history both of which have conflict between people based on ethnic and nation origins.
History and religion can be availible in higher education if and when the student ever wants to learn about discrimination and conflict.
People have a right to choose if they want to be subjected to and taught discrimination.
Quebec has the schools and the manpower to give our kids a future.
If done propperly we would save money by reducing the number of repeat positions between the French and English administrators.
From daycare (if the child goes) to grade 12 (add a year) of high school the only madatory learning should be languages and math.All children would attend the same daycares and schools,this would hopefully enable the kids to learn to help and respect each other as people.
The first years of school could be used teaching basic words and sentences that can be used during the afternoon activities such as art,gym,...music something the kids enjoy and encourages them to comunicate with each other.There could also be extra classes to help the students that need a bit of help in any subject
Anouther idea would be to have bilingual games that teach how to earn plan and save money to take care of a pet.
Grade 8 to 12 along with economics and human rights the students can start to choose more life related afternoon classes (again it's trusting the student to choose what's best for them) Trade shop,sciences,...etc
This is just a rough idea and it's main purpose is to educated and allow our children to grow into who they want to be not someone Quebec politcians have mandated they be
